Nov 9-18th – Ant Farm Crew will be operating along the North side of Indian creek trail between 7th and 10th street.
December – Ant Farm crew will be doing a joint wildfire risk reduction and restoration project on Columbia Land Trust property.
Why do this work?
This project will remove overgrown woody shrubs that can contribute to more intense wildfires. By reducing these fuels, the project will help improve safety for both nearby residents and the many people who use this natural area. This work is being completed in an area identified as a high priority in the Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP), a plan developed with input from local residents, partners, and fire professionals.
