Hood River County\u00a0Emergency Management<\/strong> + Resilience<\/strong>\u00a0is a regional resource to prepare our region for large scale emergencies and disasters.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

We partner with Cities, Counties, Fire Departments, 911, schools, medical, health and\u00a0other first response agencies Gorge-wide and are staffed by trained volunteers and partner staffs.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

When needed, we activate the Hood River\u00a0County EOC (Emergency Operations Center<\/strong>) to help the community and boost first responders.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

We\u00a0are the direct link to bring in partners and additional\u00a0regional, state and federal support.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

We manage grants, disaster planning\u00a0and programs that enhance our county’s readiness and\u00a0response.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
